David Hughes - Ph.D. Student (MCW)
I graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in robotics. During my time at Rose-Hulman I studied selective attention and mental fatigue for visual and auditory stimuli under Dr. Alan Chiu.
I’m interested in how we can leverage our understanding of attention and other behavioral mechanisms to improve assistive technologies.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, fishing, running, reading, and watching movies. I also love watching DC sports teams, exploring breweries, and a good cup of coffee.
