Trisha Xiong - Undergraduate RA
I am a third year at Mount Mary University majoring in Biology Health-Sciences and minoring in Psychology and Chemistry. I currently am the Vice-President of the Asian Student Organization, Social Media Coordinator of Tri-Beta, and a co-leader for InterVarsity Bible Study. I also tutor for introductory courses in Biology and Chemistry.
Currently, I am interested in researching about Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease and Diabetes. I also hope to find a way to bridge any gaps, such as language barriers and cultural differences between the Hmong community and health professionals. I am not too sure on what specific career path to follow, but I do know that I want to attend medical school and maybe apply to MCW’s MSTP. In my spare time, I love eating, hiking, and cleaning. I even have a food blog called, @adventuresoftrisha on Instagram where I document all the restaurants I’ve visited. I also love hiking on hidden trails or national parks in Wisconsin. It’s always fun to be in the city but being surrounded by nature is the best! Lastly, I try my best to stay organized, so cleaning helps me destress. |
